2008 Pinot Noir, Rochioli Vineyard, River Block
95 Points – Charles Olkin, Connoisseurs’ Guide, March 2011
95 Points – “When well-made, as is so capably shown here, Pinot Noir can evince an uncanny balance of richness and grace, and this accomplished bottling exhibits wonderful depth and fruity precision without coming close to being overly ripe. It is supple in feel with perfectly integrated acids underlying its very ample, deftly oaked themes of ripe-cherry fruit, and it is poised and polished all the way through to its very long finish. It is not a powerhouse Pinot, but it is an involving one with good years before it, and it will pair famously with foods ranging from tuna to chicken to duck.” Charles Olkin, Connoisseurs’ Guide to California Wine, March 2011
